FINNAIR FLEET
Finnair has been conscientiously renewing its fleet for years. We already operate one of the youngest and most eco-efficient narrow-body fleets in Europe. The average age of our aircraft in European traffic is four years.
Thanks to the strong growth in Asian traffic, our long-haul fleet will be renewed in the coming years with Airbus A340 and A330 aircraft.
At the start of the next decade, Finnair will operate only three types of aircraft in scheduled traffic: wide-bodied Airbus aircraft will serve long-haul destinations and the narrow-bodied Airbus A320s and Embraer 170s and 190s short-range destinations.
